Hello my name is Samantha Mancuso. I am 12 years old and I am from New South Wales in Australia. I think war is bad because a lot of people die and everyone gets sad. My dad is from Italy and my mum is Aboriginal. My shoe is about happiness. The rainbow colours represent the joy of no war and the smiley faces are for the kids, hopefully it could bring a smile to their face. The love heart means love each other.
I spent 3 or 4 hours on my design. I used paint and sparkles and a hot glue gun. My hope in the future for children in war is that that hopefully wars would stop and they can have a better life.
