My second shoe is blanketed with words and statements which speak to the state of the world and hopes for the future. One of my favorite children\'s poems is the story of Wink\'n, Blink\'n and Nod, so with this in mind I decided to put three children in and on the shoe. For me these children represent a hopeful awakening to the dawn of a new era of peace and reconciliation.
