What heals the lost child?
Lost in death, abandonment, grief
hatred, fear, & betrayal
A child absent, terrified, despairing,
hating, brutalizing.
The victim afflicted.
Living in the world
as taught by the world.
To the East we pray for wisdom,
The sun rising and new beginnings.
To the South we pray for wisdom,
The warmth of full summer,
The struggle not so hard & much to share.
To the West we pray for wisdom,
A full harvest, more than enough.
To the North we pray for wisdom,
Through the cold, the dark, the absence,
the heart/s personal winter.
