I sewed this doll for my first daughter when she was born. It was well loved by her and then her sister....this doll is ready to \\\\\\\'move on\\\\\\\'. My daughters are grown now. This too can reflect the idea that we as adults can be parent to, and can assist in raising more than a single child...the symbolism of being held in loving arms, I believe, is the most important feature in this box.
