Shoes for Healing for
Children of the Wars
The original shoe evoked dark sadness of children of war, and is now transformed to show healing.
The seeds represent new growth, new life, and most of all – hope.
The shoe is filled with wheat, staff of life, and sustenance.
Empty circles represent the missing children. All circles represent the circle of life and seasons.
The four corners of the base represent Mother Earth, the moon, sun and stars.
The two gold loops represent loving arms, enfolding and comforting each and every child.
May all the children of war grow strong and heal, and have hope for a new and better life.
May all the souls lost in wars be safe in God’s hands.
