torn words covering an orange centre?
After being abused badly and bullied at school so i turned inwards, hiding from people for 30 years. I felt /safe/ in my world of rocks, fossils and geology at 12 years old. My geology is stiff safe for me. The covering is /torn/ from a geology book i bought aged 12. v personal to me as i have carried it with me for 35 years. The orange is the colour of one who has /self-harmed / but now has stopped. I work with autobiographical themes now to try stop this abuse and bullying by working publicly, because kids are dyslexic dosent mean they are /stupid / like i was told everyday, I do this so that no one has to feel they need to hide.
