Humanity - Hands to Hold Something Precious.
I decided to make hands from a pair of my well used, well loved red fleece gloves. I stitched lines of finger joints. Thought about the filling - needs to be light - cushion like - soft, comfy - used fibre from a pillow. I used grey cotton from my long deceased Grandad Sandy/s sewing box - the thread continues. The canvas inserts represent sunrise and sunset. Each of us has the power to protect - we can make the world a better place, we all have to have the life of humanity in our hands.
