Eternity.
I used soft marabou feathers to engulf a hard shoe and created a nest of protection to soften all the blows to children. I placed it on a canvas to represent childrens lives as an open canvas. The pillow, I feel, adds another dimension to elevate the fragility of children and to symbolise their vulnerability and preciousness. The colour(or lack of) represents the yin/yang of childhood and life in general. it also demonstrates how black and white many of our decisions are which disregard the welfare of helpless children.
